본 연구는 2019년 1년의 서울실용음악고등학교 드럼학과 교육과정을 연구했다. 실용음악고등학교의 여러 학과 중에 드럼을 전공하는 드럼과 학생들의 특별한 수업과 교육과정을 설명을 하게 될 것이다. 실용음악고등학교의 교육과정은 학과별로 체계적인 교육보다는 보편적인 교육으로 진행되고 있다. 그래서 서울실용음악고등학교의 드럼학과 교육과정을 통해 구체적인 사례들을 살펴보았다. 서울실용음악고등학교는 총 8개 학과로 구성되어 있다. 보컬과, 피아노과, 작곡과, 관악과, 베이스과, 기타과, 뮤지컬과, 드럼과가 있는데 수업들은 모든 학생들이 듣는 공통과목이 있고 각 학과별로 진행되는 과목들이 있다. 서울실용음악고등학교는 대학입시를 위한 교육프로그램은 아니지만, 3년 동안 각 학과별로 진행되는 모든 수업들이 입시준비를 잘 진행 할 수 있도록 구성되어 있다. 드럼과 교육과정은 드럼기초전공실기, 드럼전공실기, 입시초견, 즉흥연주 수업으로 진행된다. 각 수업은 드럼과 학생들만 듣는 수업으로 스페셜하게 진행되는 수업들이다. 서울실용음악고등학교 드럼과 수업들의 진행방법을 설명하며, 음악적 성장과 입시준비 및 결과에 대한 만족도를 조사하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 서울실용음악고등학교의 드럼과 교육과정을 통하여 고찰하였다.
The study studied the drum department curriculum of the Seoul Practical Music High School in 2019. Among the various departments of Practical Music High School, drums majoring in drums and students will be given special lessons and curriculum. The curriculum at the Practical Music High School is carried out in a universal education rather than a systematic one in each department. So we looked at the specific cases through the drum department curriculum at Seoul Practical Music High School. Seoul Practical Music High School consists of a total of eight departments. There are vocal, piano, composition, orchestral, bass, guitar, musical, and drum departments. The classes have common subjects that all students take and are conducted by each department. Seoul Practical Music High School is not an educational program for college entrance exams, but all classes in each department over the course of three years are organized to help students prepare for college entrance exams. Drums and curricula will be conducted with drum basic skills, drum technical skills, entrance examination beginnings, and improvisation classes. Each class is a special class for drum and students only. Explaining how to proceed with drums and classes at Seoul Practical Music High School, we examined musical growth, preparation for entrance exams and satisfaction with the results. The results of this study were considered through the drum and curriculum of Seoul Practical Music High School.
