Objective : The purpose of this study is to find ways to effectively operate and reinforce the role to realize stable integrated care in the local community.
Methods : From January 1 to February 11, 2022, a survey was conducted on the recognition of the role of the long-term care insurance system for the elderly among 206 subjects, health and medical welfare workers across the country. To find out whether there is a difference in the recognition by occupation type and affiliated institution One-way ANOVA and Kruskal-Wallis test was performed.
Results : The result of analyzing differences in recognition by area according to occupation. In reality, there were significant differences in the establishment of an efficient delivery system through the discovery and connection of local community resources, and various types of individually customized services(p<.05). In necessity, there were significant differences in the strengthen and systematize case management, and expanding a variety of services(p<.05). The result of analyzing differences in recognition by area according to affiliated institutions. The actual situation showed a significant difference in various types of individually customized service areas, and the degree of necessity was strengthened and systematized in case management, and comprehensive & significant differences were found in the provision of an efficient delivery system and expansion of various services(p<.05).
Conclusion : It was found that the recognition of necessity was higher than the reality recognition of the role of long-term care insurance for the elderly by the health and medical welfare workers, and the need for strengthening professional home services linked with health and medical welfare services and expanding various services was found to be high.
