본 연구는 초등학생을 대상으로 하는 데이터 이해 기반의 인공지능 기초 교육 프로그램의 개발에 관한 연구이다. ADDIE 교수설계 모형에 따라 10차시 분량의 교육 프로그램을 설계하였다. 설계한 교육 프로그램의 내용 타당성을 검증하기 위해 인공지능 융합교육 또는 컴퓨터 교육 전문가 12인을 전문가 집단으로 구성하여 내용 타당도 검사를 실시하였다. 내용 타당도 검사 결과를 토대로 교육 프로그램을 수정 및 보완하여 교육 현장에 적용하였다. 개발한 교육 프로그램이 학습자의 인공지능 리터러시 향상에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위하여 단일 집단을 대상으로 인공지능 리터러시 사전·사후 검사를 실시하여 분석하였다. 프로그램 적용 결과 학습자들의 인공지능 기초 지식 이해, 인공지능 활용과 인공지능 개발 능력이 유의미하게 향상되었다. 인공지능 윤리 및 가치관 영역에서 전반적인 인공지능 활용의 윤리적인 판단 부분은 유의미한 변화가 없었지만 데이터 활용의 윤리적인 판단 부분은 유의미하게 향상되었다. 본 연구에서 개발된 데이터 이해 기반의 인공지능 교육 프로그램이 학교 현장에서 인공지능 리터러시 향상을 위한 자료로 활용되길 기대한다.
This study investigates the development and application of artificial intelligence (AI) education program based on data understanding for elementary school students. An education program of ten hours was designed based on the ADDIE instructional design model. To verify the content validity of the designed education program, 12 experts in AI convergence education or computer education were organized as an expert group, and the content validity test was conducted. Based on the results of the content validity test, the education program was modified, supplemented, and applied to the educational field. To find out how the developed educational program affects the improvement of learners’ AI literacy, pre-test and post-test were conducted and analyzed for a single group. As a result of the application of the program, the learners’ basic knowledge of AI, the ability to use AI, and the ability to develop AI were significantly improved. In the area of AI ethics and values, there was no significant change in the ethical judgment part of the overall use of AI, but the ethical judgment part of the data use improved significantly. It is expected that the data understanding-based AI education program developed in this study will be used to improve AI literacy in the school field.
