The purpose of this study is to design and develop a recorder duo educational app for elementary school students using App Inventor. The app developed in this study provides sound sources of recorder duets, and piano accompaniment in a slow tempo for practice and a fast tempo for performance. Total 11 pieces for recorder duets were chosen from music textbooks for grades 3-6 of elementary school. Using these sound sources, students can develop their "inner hearing" to imagine or listen to the sounds of counterparts while playing their own part. In addition, evaluating the developed app by four pre-service elementary school teachers in terms of content, educational utility, performance, and functionality was also executed in the study. Through this study, it is expected that teachers will be able to develop an app for learning recorder duets as needed, increasing educational efficiency and giving students opportunities for self-directed learning.
본 연구의 목적은 앱 인벤터를 활용하여, 초등학생을 위한 리코더 2중주 교육용 앱을 설계하고 실제 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서 개발하는 앱에서는 초등학교 3~6학년 음악교과서에 수록된 리코더 2중주를 위한 11개의 악곡의 효율적인 학습을 위하여 Part 1, Part 2 그리고 교사반주 음원을 각각 연습용 느린 템포와 연주용 빠른 템포로 제공한다. 이를 통하여 학생들은 본인의 성부를 연주하며 다른 성부의 소리를 상상하거나 들을 수 있는 내청 능력을 개발할 수 있게 된다. 또한 블록 코딩 과정으로 개발된 앱의 내용적, 교육적 효용성, 성능 및 기능적 측면에서 예비교사 4인을 통해 평가를 받는 과정도 연구에 포함되었다. 이 연구를 통해, 현장에서 교사가 그 필요에 따라 리코더 2중주 교육을 위해 앱을 직접 개발함으로, 교육적 효율성을 높이며 학생들에게는 자기주도적 학습의 기회가 주어지기를 기대한다.
