연구 목적 본 연구의 목적은 유교의 교육적 인간상인 ‘성현기상(聖賢氣象)’에 대해 분석.검 토하고, 그 교육적 의미를 고찰하여 현대 교육적 시사점을 제공하는 데 있다. 연구 내용 첫째, ‘성(聖)’ 개념의 형성과 ‘성현기상’론이 등장하게 된 사상사적 배경에 대해 요.순 임금으로부터 주자에 이르기까지의 과정을 검토한다. 둘째, ‘성현기상’에서 논의된 인 물들의 특성을 성현에 편입된 인물과 편입되지 않은 인물로 나누어 정돈한다. 셋째, ‘성현기 상’의 구체적 양상에 대해, ‘세상을 지향하는 사명의식’과 ‘자기성숙을 도모하는 구도의식’, 그 리고 ‘주관과 객관을 융합하는 자아의식’으로 재해석하여 이해한다. 결론 ‘성현기상’을 모범적 인간상으로 이해한다면, 사명의식을 통해 개인교육과 공동체교육 의 괴리 문제를 고심하게 만들고, 구도의식을 통해 인생의 지향과 교육을 대하는 태도를 새롭 게 다질 수 있으며, 자아의식을 통해 현실적 어려움이나 지나친 경쟁 상황 등을 대비하는 교 육적 자세를 확인할 수 있다.
PURPOSE The purpose of this study is to provide modern educational implications by analyzing and examining ‘Seonghyeongisang(聖賢氣象)’, the educational human image of Confucianism, and examining its educational meaning. CONTENTS First, the process from King Yo.Sun(堯舜) to Zhuzi(朱子) is reviewed for the historical background of the formation of the concept of ‘Seong(聖)’ and the emergence of the theory of ‘Seonghyeongisang.’ Second, the characteristics of the characters discussed in Seonghyeongisang are sorted by dividing them into those who are incorporated into the characters and those who are not. Third, the specific aspects of ‘Seonghyeongisang’ are reinterpreted and understood as ‘a sense of mission that aims for the world’, ‘a consciousness of composition that promotes self-maturity’, and ‘a consciousness of self that fuses subjectivity and objectivity.’ RESULTS If we understand ‘Seonghyeongisang’ as a model human image, we can make the problem of the gap between individual education and community education more difficult through a sense of mission, and through a sense of composition, we can renew our attitude toward life and education, and through self-consciousness You can check the educational attitude to prepare for realistic difficulties or excessive competition.
