대학박물관은 대학이 설립하고 운영하는 박물관이다. 따라서 대학이 필요로 하는 임무에 충실해야 한다. 이 연구는 그 역할 중 하나로 대학평가에 주요한 항목 중 하나인 비교과 프로그램을 선정하였다. 학점이 부여되지 않는비교과 프로그램은 ‘계획－실행－보완’의 환류 시스템을 통해 대학생들의 요구사항을 신속하게 반영한다는 특징이 있다. 따라서 문화기관으로 대학박물관은 충분히 비교과 프로그램을 운영할 수 있는 역량을 갖추고 있다. 연구의 사례는 ‘展See하자’, ‘나도 큐레이터’, ‘수원 뮤지엄 벨트’ 등 세 가지 비교과 프로그램을 운영하는 경기대학교 소성박물관이다. ‘展See하자’는 온·오프라인을 통해 예술, 문학, 사진, 애니메이션 등 대학생들의 다양한 전시활동을 지원하고, ‘나도 큐레이터’는 학예사 실무 체험과 관련분야 진로 탐색의 기회를 제공한다. 그리고 ‘수원 뮤지엄 벨트’는 경기대학교가 위치한 수원지역 문화기관을 관람한 후 스토리텔링을 작성하는 프로그램이다. 2018학년도 1학기부터 2022학년도 1학기까지 8학기 동안 운영한 결과를 보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학의 행·재정적 지원이 증가하였다. 둘째, 대학생과의 접점이 넓어지고 있다. 셋째, 비교과 프로그램의 수준이 향상되고 있다. 넷째, 지역사회와의 교류사업으로 확장되었다.
The University Museum is a museum being established and operated by The University. Therefore, The University Museum should play the role that The University needs. As one of its roles, this study selected a Extracurricular Program, which is one of the main items in university evaluation. A Extracurricular Program without credits are characterized by the rapid reflection of college students requirements through the reflux system of planning-implementationsupplementation. Therefore, as a cultural institution, the university museum has sufficient capacity to participate in Extracurricular Programs. The place that was used as an example of the study is Kyonggi University Sosung Museum, which operates three comparative programs : ‘Let’s display it’, ‘I'm a curator, too’, ‘Suwon Museum Belt’. ‘Let’s display it’ supports various exhibition activities of college students such as art, literature, photography, and animation through online and offline and ‘I'm a curator, too’ provides opportunities to experience curators and explore careers in related fields. And ‘Suwon Museum Belt’ is a program that visit cultural institutions in Suwon, where Kyonggi University is located, and writes storytelling. The results of the eight semesters from the first semester of 2018 to the first semester of 2022 are as follows. First, the administrative and financial support of universities increased. Second, the contact point with college students is expanding. Third, the level of Extracurricular Program is improving. Fourth, it is expanded to an exchange project with the local community.
