Objective : This study was conducted to find out the impact of the virtual reality based rehabilitation program using RAPAEL Smartboard on visual perception, cognitive function, upper limb fuction, and Activities of Daily Living ability of stroke patients. Methods : A total of 36 patients admitted to S Hospital in Ulsan Metropolitan City were randomly assigned to a virtual reality-based rehabilitation program or task-oriented training. The experimental group performed virtual reality rehabilitation program and the control group performed task oriented training. Intervention The intervention was conducted 8 times for 8 weeks, 40 minutes per day, 3 times a week. SPSS 22.0 was used for data analysis, and the statistical significance level was set at 0.05. Results : Both groups showed a significant improvement in their visual perception, cognitive function, upper limb fuction and Activities of Daily Living ability. After the intervention, significant differences in the score of MVPT-3, Fugl-meyer assessment, MoCA-K, K-MBI were observe. Conclusion : In conclusion, it is desirable to implement a virtual conduction virtual reality-based rehabilitation program as a rehabilitation program to improve visual perception, cognitive function, upper limb function, and daily living ability in stroke ADL patients.
