Modular technologies and construction methods are used all over the world. Modular construction is economical because it takes shorter construction time than conventional construction methods, and because of its low on-site construction ratio, it is eco-friendly because it can reduce the emission of air pollutants from construction machines used in the field. However, domestic modularization technology is an early research stage, and low-rise residential modularization occupies a high proportion. Accordingly, the case of modular construction in Korea was investigated.
In this study, a study was conducted on the safety of modularized biomass plants to be built in Vietnam. The module size was set to 20×4.5×4.2m (W×L×H) considering Vietnam's road transport conditions and components of biomass plant. As boundary conditions, the standard suitability was confirmed through structural analysis results by applying the load of devices operating in the module, earthquake load, and wind load.As a result of analysis using H-Beam made of SS410 material, it was confirmed that the design can be stably designed. Using this method, it is believed that it can be used as basic data when designing biomass plant modularization, and as a future task, continuous research on the development and modularization of systems and infrastructure suitable for domestic circumstances is needed.
