본 연구는 문화적 자기관와 울분, 통제 소재와의 관계를 확인하고, 통제 소재가 문화적 자기관과 울분과의 관계를 매개하는지 확인하였다. 연구대상자는 경기도 소재 대학교에 재학 중인 만 18～25세 대학생 254명이었다. 온라인으로 설문을 실시하고, 수집한 자료들은 SPSS 22와 Mplus 7을 사용하여 구조방정식 모형을 통해 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 변인 간 상관관계를 확인한 결과, 울분은 대상성 자기관, 외부 통제 소재와 유의한 정적 상관, 내부 통제 소재와 유의한 부적 상관이 나타났다. 주체성 자기관은 대상성 자기관과는 유의한 부적 상관, 내부 통제와는 유의한 정적 상관이 나타났다. 대상성 자기관은 내부 통제와는 부적 상관, 외부 통제와는 정적 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 내부 통제 소재는 주체성 자기관과 울분의 관계를, 외부 통제 소재는 대상성 자기관과 울분을 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 연구의 의의와 한계, 후속연구에 대해 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to examined the relationship between embitterment, self-construal(subjective, objective) and locus of control, and to whether locus of control mediates self-construal and embitterment. Participants were 254 university students aged 18-24 years old who were enrolled in a university located in Gyeonggi. Data collected through online surveys were analyzed using structural equation modeling by SPSS 22 and Mplus 7. The results of this study are as follows. First, embitterment was significant positive correlations with object self-construal, external locus of control and significant negative correlations with internal locus of control. Subjective self-construal was significant negative correlation with objective self-construal, and significant positive correlation with external locus of control. Second, bootstrapping method showed that internal locus of control mediated the relationship between subjective-construal and embitterment, external locus of control mediated the relationship between objective-construal and embitterment. Based on these findings, the limitations, and recommendations for future research were discussed.
