The purpose of this study is firstly, understanding psychological changes of university students in the COVID-19 pandemic era and secondly, seeking the psychological support measures and the roles of university counseling centers. As a result of conducting analysis focused on H university cases to understand university students psychological changes, 45 percent of respondents were negatively influenced by the COVID-19 and level of negative emotions has increased compared to last year especially anxiety and depression. Also, as a result of analyzing counseling cases of university counseling center clients, there was decline in temporary counseling rate according to external situations such as elevation of social distancing stage and there were monthly differences in conversion from face-to-face to untact when it came to method of counseling according to whether lecture was taking place onsite or not. When it came to this year s personal counseling appeal matters, same as last year, the first was emotion-depression and the second was career problems. But the topics of anxiety, anger, dating problem, crisis, behavior & habit problem, increased compared to last year whereas the topics of personality and interpersonal relations decreased. In conclusion, this study discussed the roles of university counseling centers being requested in this COVID-19 pandemic era and the things to take into consideration when operating counseling services.
