The purpose of this study Was to understand how to use “responsive art” in the reflection process of art therapy cases, what the art therapist experiences, and how to use art as a reflection method. In order to perform the autobiographical research, the researcher examined the records of 20 sessions of art therapy cases with a 6-year-old female client who met the researcher, and performed writing and responsive art, and described art from the perspective of narrative inquiry. The narrative telling and the re-telling through the “responsive art” - connects the past and the present, and broadens the space of healing. Moreover, the art therapist becomes a source in the relationship, and the picture itself reflects the identity of the therapist. the implications of this study are that the identities of therapists can be reflected back through the reflection process of “responsive art” that contains the identity of the art therapist.
