This study was a narratives inquiry of the self-realization of art therapists based on Expressive Therapy Continuum(ETC). ETC is the basic structure for art therapy, a structure that can explain the therapeutic dimension of expressive experience and resilience of creativity. At a time when the need was felt for awakening and self-reflection on limitations and deficiencies while meeting clients as an art therapist, ETC experienced level treatment. A narratives format described the information processing experience and interaction with the media. The components of ETC are 1) Kinesthetic/Sensory Level, 2) Perception/ Affective Level, and 3) Cognitive/Symbolic Level. The following can be seen at any level and in itself is a creative level with healing properties: Through the ETC, which is capable of systematic experience at an individual level, the body and its five senses, perception and emotion, recognition and insight were experienced. Art therapy is about expressing oneself and allowing self-reflection with the help of art therapists. Various media and art therapy techniques are important, but ETC has experienced the need to awaken itself as an art therapist, a big part of the treatment, and has taken the first step toward self-realization as a therapist.
