The purpose of this study is to analyze the research trends related to elementary school teachers in Korea that have been conducted since the outbreak of COVID-19, to find the characteristics of the study, and to comprehensively analyze and present the research results. The subjects of analyses were research published in Korea from January 2020 to June 2022, and a total of 25 research related to elementary school teachers in the era of COVID-19 were selected as the final analysis target. In order to understand the general characteristics of the selected subjects, the publication year, research period, research subjects, affiliated area of the research subjects, sample size, and research method were analyzed. In addition, for the thematic analysis of the research results, the results of each study were analyzed by the status of distance learning, positive and negative experiences and perceptions of elementary school teachers, responses, support requested, and the role of elementary school teachers. The general characteristics derived from the research results were the period of study, with the largest number of studies on experience and perception in the first semester of 2020, and the proportion of qualitative studies that was high compared to the research that used quantitative method and mixed method. Meanwhile, the subjects of the experience and awareness research results of elementary school teachers in the COVID-19 pandemic were classified into five areas and a total of 17 sub-areas as follows. The areas and details are class preparation and execution (class preparation, class execution, evaluation, training and professional development), student management and support (learning level, learning attitude, learning outcome, life guidance, interaction), psychological level (personal, external, relationship), environmental and administrative level (environmental change, guidance and manual, personal responsibility), and legal and ethical level (copyright and human rights). In addition, this study comprehensively analyzed and presented the responses of elementary school teachers in each area, the requested support from elementary school teachers, and the role of elementary school teachers.
