This study was to explore substantial healing experience and meaning of authentic movement as in-depth psychotherapy. Data was collected based on in-depth interview with seven participants who have the experience on authentic movement groups as in-depth psychotherapy. The collected data was analyzed using Van Manen’s hermeneutic phenomenological methodology. As a result, 72 themetic statements, 17 sub-components themes and 4 essential themes were generated. The essential themes ware ‘encountering one’s body as existantial being’, ‘seeing oneself with new perspective of witness’s eyes’, ‘as one’s inner witness is grown up, one’s own pain is transformed’, ‘new bodily-felt sensation leads to the change of one’s ordinary life’. These results indicated that psychological healing process such as body as existantial being, witness’ eyes, psychological transformation leads to the chance and the growth of real life and body is the bridge between internal and exernal life.
