목적 : 본 연구는 간호대학생의 좋은 죽음에 대한 인식과 도덕적 민감성이 연명의료 중단에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구방법 : 연구대상자는 G시에 소재하고 있는 3개 대학의 간호학과 학생 175명을 대상으로 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS Statistics 24.0 version을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 : 연구대상자의 좋은 죽음에 대한 인식은 3.08점이었으며, 도덕적 민감성 평균은 5.29점, 연명의료 중단에 대한 태도는 평균 3.37점이었다. 연명의료 중단에 대한 태도는 좋은 죽음에 대한 인식(r=.26, p<.001), 도덕적 민감성(r=.31, p<.001)과 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연명의료 중단에 대한 태도의 가장 강력한 예측인자는 도덕적 민감성(β=.23, p=.004)이었고, 좋은 죽음에 대한 인식 (β=.16, p=.045)이 영향요인으로 파악되었으며, 모형의 설명력은 10.4%였다. 결론 : 간호대학생이 연명의료 중단에 대한 긍정적 태도를 가질 수 있도록 도덕적 민감성, 좋은 죽음에 대한 인식을 향상시키기 위한 교과과정의 보완 및 교육 프로그램의 개발을 제언한다.
Objective : The purpose of this study is to identify the factors influencing nursing students' attitudes toward withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment, based on their perceptions of a good death and moral sensitivity. Methods : The study participants consisted of 175 nursing students from three universities located in G city. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS Statistics 24.0. Results : The strongest predictor of attitudes toward the withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment was moral sensitivity (β=.23, p=.004), followed by the perception of a good death (β=.16, p=.045), and the model explained 10.4% of the variance. Conclusion : It is suggested to enhance the curriculum and develop educational programs to improve moral sensitivity and the perception of a good death, in order to foster a positive attitudes toward withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment among nursing students.
