The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of intergenerational recreation program using a sample of 34(17 of female elders and 17 children). The results are as follows: First, the number of the children and the elderly's visiting their counterparts, the alive grandparent's number, whether or not the children live with their grandparents, sex and age, and vice versa do not show any statistical difference in the children's and the elderly's attitudes toward their counterparts respectively. Second, the children's attitude towards the elderly have more positively changed statistically after their attending the program rather than before. Thrid, the elderly's attitude toward the children has been improved too. Final, the implication for the future practice and research on intergenerational recreation and educational gerontology are discussed.
