The purpose of this study was to search the establishment direction of
inter-agency collaboration system for lifelong education of individuals with
disabilities.
In order to achieve this purpose, this study analyzed the demands of
individuals with disabilities, their families, and the persons related with lifelong
education agencies through interviews.
With this methods, this study revealed as following :
First, establishment of inter-agency collaboration system of lifelong
education for individuals with disabilities has to be built in a direction that
prevents the duplication or the omission of the support to individuals with
disabilities.
Second, establishment of inter-agency collaboration system of lifelong
education for individuals with disabilities has to be built in a direction that
collaborate relevantly centering around horizontal inter-agency collaboration
system of lifelong education agencies in the communities. That is, the central
government and local government have to bear each responsibility according to
the character of policies.
Third, establishment of inter-agency collaboration system of lifelong
education for individuals with disabilities has to be built in a direction that
each agency share with information, resources, and funds to provide not a
temporary, a single-shot, and a short-term support but a continuous, a
long-term, and a lasting support on individuals with disabilities.
To establishment of inter-agency collaboration system of lifelong
education for individuals with disabilities, each lifelong education agency has to
reform their management system and awareness of related persons.
