본 연구는 지속가능발전으로의 유아 공존교육 모형의 기초연구로써 모형의 이론적 근거가 되는 지 속가능발전의 개념과 공존의 의미를 살펴보고, 이들과 관련한 국내외 선행연구와 관련 자료에 대한 이 론적 고찰을 통해 공존교육이 대두되어야 할 필요성과 중요성을 탐색하고 그 방향성을 정립하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이에 이론적 고찰을 통해 추출된 내용을 중심으로 지속가능발전으로의 유아 공존교육 의 모형을 구성하는 교육목적 및 목표, 교육내용, 교육방법의 원리 등 유아 공존교육 방향의 근거가 되는 이론적 준거들을 추출하였다.
The purpose of this study sets out the theoretical basis of the Coexistence Education toward Sustainable Development for Young Children. For the purpose of accomplishing the goal, antecedent studies related coexistence and sustainable development were analyzed and literature reviews were conducted. This study was extract theoretical criteria by the analyzing goals, objects, contents, and methods of reviewing. The implications of this study are the coexistence education emphasizes the value of experiences because they are capable of change knowledge, emotion and attitudes towards the sustainable development. In reference to the above, the coexistence education toward sustainable development results can be used in developing the coexistence education program for young children.
