In my childhood I used impressed about picture book mother has read and remember experience of storytelling presentation. I thought it could make fascination as they are drawn of various stories, and offer opportunities of multiple possibilities for fantastic elements. So storytelling is not just dull reading but introducing the world of fantasy, improving creative thought, solving many kind of problems, inquiring ability of language naturally, learning about culture of all over the world, and so on. That'll be important value of storytelling. Now I'll introduce research about storytelling and summarize contents abstract. They are Theory part : definition, function, purpose, educational effects, and practical part : strategies, standards, teaching methods, procedures, activities after reading. Finally I believe storytelling makes help acquiring enormous importance of daily lives of children and teachers because language experiences of 'Storytelling' present them valuable participation and then they will feel happy always.
