It is increased that the college students with a disability have an opportunity to study more
advanced field, recently. That was related to a qualitative pending problem of college
education. The study was conducted to investigate whether the supports and facilities of university was appropriate to college students with disabilities, to understand the experience of
the students with disabilities in school life and to establish the strategy for helping them. The
focus group interview was implemented by 15 college students with a disability. The disability
types of participated students were hearing impairment, visual disorder, and physical
disorder. The results of qualitative analysis through the focus group interview are as following:
1) the experience of support-service systems within university, 2) the request of support-
service systems within university and 3) an image of the future of support-service
systems. The practical change and direction of support-service systems for helping the students with a disability were discussed and the related future research of systematic support
was suggested.
