Because of the complexity of business problems and the search of their solutions, intelligent knowledge management system to support and amplify the abilities of business managers and knowledge workers have the potential for profound impact on thespeed and reliability of performance enhancement through learning activities. This article describes a framework for supporting the business problem-solving processes and its application to individual and organizational learning processes, illustrating the approach with a discussion of its use in support of on-time EPSS. Our discussion integrates Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) with interactivd tools for capturing expert knowledge through Fuzzy Cognitive Map (FCM). Fuzzy Cognitive Map provides crucialfunctions for interactively generating and examining business cases and retrieving them for later uses. Following general descriptions on the two techniques CBR and FCM, the authors discuss about possible applications of these along with suggestions for future research.
