본 연구에서는 유아의 정서지능, 어머니-유아의 상호작용 및 어머니-교사 협력관계가 또래괴 롭힘(피해)에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위해 직 · 간접적인 경로를 알아보았다. 연구 대상은 서울 및 경기지역에 위치한 사립유치원과 국공립 및 민간 어린이집에 다니고 있는 만 4, 5세 유아의 어머니와 담임교사로, 질문지법을 이용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 살펴보면, 유아의 정서지능이 또래괴롭힘(피해)에 직접적으로 영향을 주는 것으로 나 타났으나, 유아의 정서지능은 어머니-교사 협력관계를 통해 또래괴롭힘(피해)에 영향을 미치 는 간접적인 경로는 유의성이 발견되지 않았다. 어머니-유아 상호작용은 또래괴롭힘(피해)에 미치는 직접효과도 유의하게 나타났고, 매개변수인 어머니-교사 협력관계를 통해 또래괴롭 힘(피해)에 간접효과도 유의하게 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 또래괴롭힘 피해 유아를 조기 선 별하고 개입하는 예방적 자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.
This investigation studied both the direct and indirect effects of children's emotional intelligence, mother-child interactions and mother-teacher partnerships on peer victimization. The subjects were aged from 4 to 5 years old and their mother and teachers were attending private and public child day care centers in the Seoul or Kyeongki-do areas. The data was collected by questionnaire and analyzed. The results indicated there were significant impacts in terms of the direct effects of children's emotional intelligence on peer victimization. However, children's emotional intelligence did not have an indirect effect on peer victimization through mother-teacher partnerships. Significant direct impacts of mother-child interactions on peer victimization were found. Additionally, mother-child interactions were observed to have an indirect effect on peer victimization through mother-teacher partnerships. The damage inflicted upon infants by peer victimization may be mitigated by early screening and intervention programs and it is hoped these results may guide the development of such preventive materials.
