The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between young children's basic life habits,
moral judgment and sociality. The subjects were on 200 children aging 5 years-old at 4
kindergartens in G city. Collected materials are analyzed by Pearson's product moment correlation
analysis and multiple regression analysis.
The results of this study are as follows: First, there was no statistically significant correlation
between the children's basic life habits and moral judgment. Second, there was a highly positive
correlation between young children's basic life habits and sociality. Third, the regression model of
young children's basic life habits showed a statistically meaningful positive relationship with two
independent variables, moral judgment and sociality. They were 68.9% explanative on the children's
basic life habits. That is to say, sociality of young children was the influential variable to the basic
life habits.
