Purpose: This study was done to the identify nurses' perception and awareness of cultural assumptions that affect the variables were tried find out. Method: The subjects were 146 who is working in a university hospital in Seoul, and as a nurse. The data collected December 1, 2010 to January 17, 2011, and analyzed by SPSS program. Result: This study recognizes multicultural families averaged 3.90(.55) points and cultural competence score was 3.49(.44) points. Multicultural families awareness did not appears correlation between cultural competence but subrange self-perceived value showed significant correlation. Conclusion: To improve awareness of multicultural families increase cultural competency and accept without prejudice.
