This study investigated experience of dating violence, interparental violence, and violence from parents of male college students to examine that child abuse and interparental violence lead to adulthood family violence. Data for research were collected from 376 male students of 7 colleges on Seoul, megalopolis and small towns. The data were analyzed factor analysis, Cronbach\'s α, percentage, mean, SD, Pearson\'s r and multiple Regression. The major findings were; (1) There were low level experiences of interparental violence, violence from parents and dating violence of participants. However low risks of interparental violence and violence from parents and psychological dating violence were experienced by participants. (2) There were high correlation between interparental violence and violence from parents. (3) The perceived high risk levels of interparental violence and violence from parents were influenced on the dating violence of male students. So, our results support the general intergenerational transmission of violence(cycle-of- violence) hypothesis that family-of-origin violence increases the risk for adulthood family violence.
