본 연구는 가정의 심리적 환경 중 양육태도가 청소년의 자기통제력과 학교생활적응에 어떻 게 관련되는지 알아보고자 하였다. 경기도와 강원도 지역에 위치한 중소도시의 일반계 고등 학생 323명이 이 연구의 조사에 참여하였으며, ‘양육태도’, ‘자기통제력’, ‘학교생활적응’을 알 아보기 위한 척도와 문항이 사용되었다. 주요 연구결과를 제시하면, 첫째, 양육태도 중 애정 요인과 성취요인은 학교생활적응 중 교사관계, 교우관계, 학교수업적응과 밀접한 관련성을 가졌다. 둘째, 자기통제력은 학교생활적응 중 학교규칙적응와 밀접한 관련성을 가졌다. 셋째, 자기통제력에 대한 양육태도의 설명력은 미미하였다. 이 모든 연구결과들이 가족상담에 시사 하는 바가 논의되었다.
This study was to examine the relationships of parental child-rearing attitude to adolescents’ self-control and school adjustment. The subject of the study was 323 third graders sampled from high school. Pearson’s correlation coefficients were computed to test relationships between variables of the study and possible multicollinearity problems among independent variables. Addection factor and achievement factor of parental child-rearing attitude had significant relationships with adolescents’teacher and peer relation, instruction adjustment of school adjustment. Adolescent self-control had significant relationships with school rule adjustment of school adjustment. Parental child-rearing had non-significant relationships with adolescent’self-control. All these findings were discussed for family counseling.
