In this study, the problems of Soldiers’ Mental health and the state of military counseling services offered by military are investigated, necessity of military counseling services is stressed and right direction of it is suggested. The problems of Soldiers’ Mental health are stress, compulsiveness, fear or anxiety, personal sensitiveness, somatization, depression, hostilities, psychosis, paranoid, suicide, murder. Military recognize the severity of accidents by the problems of Soldiers’ Mental health and maded various efforts for them. Practical use of psycological test developed focused on military, running of counseling center, having an exercise of religion, prevention of suicide seminar, anger management program, workshop between classes, group program for square pegs, counseling and education by professional counselor for military, character education for military are the cases. Military counseling in Korea is necessary to solve the problems of Soldiers’ Mental health and to strengthen military organization and armed forces. To accomplish above objects, they point to three key shortcomings that contributed to this wnen military counseling Model developted. First, the counseling recipients have expanded. Second, In counseling goals there added treatmen oriented goal as well as groth oriented goal. The third, military counseilng focused on military organization as well as soldiers.
