The cognition or intelligence have been changed with the age and also changed with the education. In this paper we examine the cognition and cognitive development, especially the basic assumption about the cause and mechanism of cognitive development in each cognitive theories. Also we think about the relationship between the cognition and thinking, the characteristics of thinking and the dynamic nature of cognitive structure. We also review the cognitive intervention program (thinking skill program) in different approach for cognitive enhancement. And we discussed about the forms and characteristics of thinking program, the necessity of cognitive program, the choice of cognitive program,
