Describing the relation between the analytic philosophy and M. Heidegger, I argue as follows; (1) R. Carnap and A.J. Ayer regard Heidegger as an object of ridicule. But L. Wittgenstein understands Heidegger's Being and Dread. It is the insight that logic cannot precede the Being. (2) R. Rorty reads the pragmatism from the early Heidegger and the later Wittgenstein, and he erases the trace of the Kant's transcendentalism, or the concept of the Whole and the limit. (3) But the essential of the later Wittgenstein is the concept of whole and the limit. (4) The common element between Heidegger and Wittgenstein is characterized as"transcendental pragmatism" by M. Okrent, C.B. Guignon, and A. Rudd. (5) Furthermore, M. Esfeld reads the non-naturalism of the mind and meaning from the early Heidegger's philosophy. (6) According to H. Glock, the main problem of the analytic philosophy is the conflict between naturalism and non-naturalism. In this context, Heidegger's philosophy can give the insight of non-naturalism to the transcendentalism in the analytic philosophy. (7) From the relation between Heidegger and the analytic philosophy, the importance of the philosophical openness beyond the dichotomy between the analytic philosophy and the continental philosophy is inferred.
