본 연구는 그림책의 갈등상황을 활용한 문제해결 토의활동이 만 4세 유아의 조망수용능력향상에 영향을 미치는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 김해시에 위치한 H어린이집의 만 4세아 2학급에서 각각 13명의 유아를 실험집단과 통제집단에 배정한 후 사전검사, 실험처치, 사후검사의 절차로써 연구를 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 실험집단은 유아의 인지조망수용능력 전체와 하위요소인 의도조망Ⅱ, 감정조망수용능력 전체와 하위요소인 사고조망Ⅰ 및 사고조망Ⅱ가 증진되었다. 즉, 그림책의 갈등상황을 활용한 토의활동이 만 4세 유아들의 타인의 감정 이해와 공유 능력 및 느낌, 감정, 반응 등의 정서 추론 능력을 향상시켰다. 이러한 결과는 유아교육기관에서의 만 4세 유아의 긍정적인 또래관계 형성에 도움을 줄 수 있는 교수학습방법에 관한 기초자료로 사용될 수 있을 것이다.
This study was to examine the effects of the discussion activities about the conflict situations of picture books on the improvement of the perspective-taking ability of 4-year-old preschoolers. The subjects were two different classes of age 4 at a child educare center located in the city of Gimhae. An experimental group and a control group were organized with 13 preschoolers each. After a pretest was conducted, the experiment was implemented, and then a posttest was carried out. The findings of the study were as follows: The experimental group improved in overall cognitive perspective -taking ability and intentional perspective Ⅱ as a sub-scale. Also overall affective perspective-taking ability and thinking perspective I and Ⅱ, sub-scales of it were enhanced. In other words, Discussion Activities about the Conflict Situations of Picture Books on the Perspective-Taking Ability of 4-year-olds preschoolers ability to understand and infer the feelings, emotion and response of others improved. These results were discussed in terms of methodology of establishing positive peer relationships in early childhood classes.
