Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore and understand the adptive process of international married on Korean men. Methods: Qualitative data were collected from 10 international married on Korean men. All interviews were recorded and analyzed following a constant comparison method by Strauss and Corbin. Results: Six maior themes and 17 sub-themes emerged as follows: 1) frustrated and give up marriage, 2) select international marriage, 3) developmental crisis of multicultural families, 4) keep the family, 5) acceptance and compromise, 6) adaptive type of international marriage. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that further qualitative research about the international married on Korean men is needed to understand the essential concept of the experiences in international married on Korean men.
