This study was aimed at surveying teachers' and mothers' satisfactions for physical
environment of the 24-hour child care centers and thereby, providing for some basic
data useful to activation of 24-hour child care centers.
Accordingly, following questions for the proposal are raised:
1. Are there differences in teachers' satisfaction for physical environment of the
24-hour child care centers ?
2. Are there differences in parents' satisfaction for physical environment of the
24-hour child care centers in according to their factors?
3. Are there differences between teachers' and parents' satisfaction for physical
environment of the 24-hour child care centers?
To this end, 97 teachers working child care centers and 126 parents were surveyed
with a questionnaire.
The results to this study can be summarized as follows;
First, teachers' satisfactions was significantly efficient difference of children numbers,
teacher's working time but it was no relationship teacher's ages.
Second, parents' satisfactions was significantly efficient difference of parent's working
pattern, but it was no relationship using motivation of the child care centers.
Third, satisfactions between teachers and parents was significantly efficient difference
that teachers' satisfactions was to high more than parents' ones.
Therefore, this study can use the basic data for resettlement and revitalization of the
24-hour child care program services.
