The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of perceived learning environment and self-efficacy on
elemantary school children's effort and satisfaction in physical education. The subjects included 689(boys; 325,
girls; 364) elementary school children who are currently living in G city and C province. The Scales used
were perceived learning environment which was made by Lee(2010), self-efficacy scale and effort scale which
were made by Park and Lee(2012), and satisfaction scale which was made by Kim(2012). For analyzing data,
descriptive statistics, t-test, and multiple regression were conducted. The results were as follows; first, boys
showed higher perception of challenge, self-efficacy, children's effort and satisfaction than those of girls, but
boys showed lower perception of threat than that of girls. Second, perception of challenge and threat
influenced self-efficacy, children's effort and satisfaction. Third, self-efficacy influenced children's effort and
satisfaction. Forth, children's effort influenced their satisfaction.
