This study aims to investigate future tasks of inclusive education for children with hearing impairments
by analyzing domestic papers on inclusive education for children with hearing impairments. In order to
achieve the purpose of this paper, general characteristics such as children’s characteristics and research
methodology of the papers on inclusive education for children with hearing impairments and independent
variables as well as dependent variables used in those existing papers were analyzed. The results of the
study are as follows; First, as for the object of study, children with hearing impairments in elementary
school level were studied the most in numbers. As for research methodology, acknowledgement, problems
and actual conditions on inclusive education were analyzed mostly. Second, the types of independent
variables were used more in experimental studies than in descriptive studies. The contents of dependent
variables were found mostly in the studies on acknowledgement, attitudes and improvements of general
students for inclusive education.
