This treatise is a study on a tentative assumption for the teleology of social education. In this treatise I tried to describe in pursuit of the purposies of social education in seven aspects as follow; 1) The authoritarian theory of social education; It means a social education in a constitution which a dictator has all powers of the nation. In this situation, the learners are wholly passive and forced. 2) The systematic theory of social education; It means of social education which is planned by requirement that the people should keep up their social systems. For example, in a democratic state, essentially the people should learn the rule of democracy. They should learn a working technique of democracy for the persuasion, the mutual agreement, the criticism and the disobedience to nondemocratic decision, etc. 3) The autonomic theory of social education;" It means a social education which the people voluntarily seek for their considerable livings that can get pleasure, intellecture and happiness, etc. And so this is the social education which pursuits the self-expression, the self-preservation, and the self-actualization. In this case, the subject of social education is learner's own self. 4) The adjustment theory of social education; The society is continually changing. It is not only changing of the traditional culture, the view point of value and actual form of human being, but also technology, knowledge and social institutions. Therefore it means the social education to adapt to the environment of the changing society. 5) The immature theory of social education; All children are immature. However, not only the children, but also all adults are immature. And so, it means the social education for their maturity better than the present age for their lifelong. For example, to build their health, to get their knowing, to sublimate feeling and to decise their good willing, etc. 6) The ideal theory of social education; As mentioned above (the immature theory of social education), not only human being, but also all societies, especially , a community is immature. And so, people have an obiligation to make better their communities than present communities are. Therefore this theory means the social education of these means. 7) The special theory of social education; this is a social education for which people were handicapped by the war, by the environmental pollutant , by injury sustained while on duty and by other accidents. They should return to society through the social education for rising again. The social education of there cases conforms to this theory.
