영문초록

The Purpose of this study is to evaluate health services for children in primary schools and to find out how to improve the services from an administrative view point. Method With the literature on this subject, the writer was concerned with the following areas: ⑴ concept of school health ⑵ programs of health nursing in schools. With questionnaires the writer surveyed backgrounds of member's health services, and nursing program in schools. The questionnaires were analyzed and taken statistics which showed mean, median, percentage, standard deviation, Pearson’s r, and critical ratio. Finding ⑴ Programs of school health are not effective. ⑵ Nursing teachers capabilities are actually greater than additional nursing teachers, especially in the areas of: a. disease prevention. b. disease treatment c. health guidance d. health plan and evaluation. ⑶ Health services in schools is more employed in relation to diseases than health guidance, which is in fact more important. ⑷ A big problem in the field of health services is that THE HEALTH SERVICES IN SCHOOL HAS NOT BEEN SYSTEMIZED YET. Implementation With the findings the writer suggests a new school system to develop effective health services in schools. That is to say: ⑴ to make a plan of health services: ⑵ to consider a systemaic and synthetic health service: ⑶ to take school health courses in the curriculum of teacher education.
