During the last two decades, since its beginnings, the American Junior high school movement has achieved new and, in certain aspects, amazing dimensions. The most remarkable recent changes in this movement are the large increase in the number of junior high schools, the enormous growth of enrollment, and the resulting expansion of the professional staff. During the time when the movement was under way rapidly this system was adopted into Korea shortly after the World War Ⅱ.
