본 연구는 초등학교 체조수업 운영의 활성화를 위해 지금까지 이루어진 연구의 동향을 분석하고 그 결과를 기초 로 체조수업 관련 연구방향을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 '초등체조수업' 관련 논문 61편을 최종적으로 연구시기, 연구주제, 연구대상, 연구방법으로 분류, 분석하였다. 본 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과는 첫째, 연구시기의 분석결과, 1998-2006년에 44.3%로 가장 많았고, 다음으로 2006-2009(26.2%), 2010-2013(16.4%), 1973-1987(8.2%), 1992-1997(4.9%)의 순이었다. 1954-1973과 1987-1992년에는 관련 연구는 이루어지지 않았다. 둘째, 연구주제의 분 석결과, 교수학습방법․교사의 전문성에 관한 연구가 전체의 32.8%로 가장 많았고, 다음으로 학습내용(23.0%0, 인 식․태도․가치(19.7%), 운영실태․제도․프로그램(9.8%), 교수행동측정․수업분석/철학․역사/기타․상해(공동 4.9%)의 순이었다. 셋째, 연구대상의 분석결과, 학생을 대상으로 한 연구가 전체의 34.4%로 가장 높았고, 다음으 로 교사(29.5%), 문헌(14.8%), 교육과정․내용(13.1%), 통합․기타(4.9%), 학생․교사(3.3%)의 순이었다. 넷째, 연구 방법의 분석결과, 조사연구가 전체의 32.8%로 가장 많았고, 다음으로 문헌연구(27.9%), 실험연구(24.6%), 질적연구 (9.8%), 통합연구(4.9%)의 순이었다.
This study is to analyze a tendency of studies that has been conducted until now in related with heavy gymnastics in elementary school for smooth class operation and offer implications about the study direction at the base of the result. To achieve the purpose of this study, 61 theses in related with elementary heavy gymnastics education were classified according to the date, subject, object and method of the study and finally analyzed, which had been searched as a keyword 'heavy gymnastics' in 1,146 theses and scientific treatises from Research Information Sharing Service (RISS) of Korea Education and Research Information Service. The following is the result from this study : First, according to the analysis of the date, 44.3% of the studies were conducted from 1998 to 2006, 26.2% of the studies which fell on the curriculum of 2007 were conducted , 16.4% of the studies which fell on the revised curriculum of 2009 were conducted, 8.2% of the studies in the third to fourth curriculum from 1973 to 1987 and 4.9% in the fifth curriculum were conducted respectively in the order of the study. There were no studies in related with elementary heavy gymnastics education on the first to second curriculum(1954-1973) and the fifth curriculum(1987-1992). Second, according to the analysis of the subject of study, the study on the teachi-ng-learning method and expertise of teachers was conducted the most (32.8%), and following the studies on Learning Contents (23.0%), recognition/attitude/value (19.7%),Operational Realities/system/program(9.8%),measurement of teaching behavior/class analysis/philosophy/ history/injury/and so on (4.9%) were in order. Third, the study on students ,unlike the result of analysis about subject of study, comprised the highest percentage(34.4%),on teachers(29.5%), reference(14.8%), curriculum/ contents(13.1%), combination/others (4.9%)and teachers/students(3.3%) were showed respectively in the order of the study. Fourth, according to analysis result in the method of study, survey study was conducted the most (32.3%), reference research (27.9%),experimental research (24.6%), qualitative research(9.8%) and unified study (4.9%) were showed in the order of the study lists.
