This study intended to conduct sports massage types in the convalescent stage after maximum exercise and to measure blood
concentration of cortisol, free fatty acid(FFA) and lactic acid in order to develop an application method on the site and to give a
help to performance-enhancing of players. For this study, repeated measurement tests were made on 10 healthy males divided in
3 groups. Results were calculated by SPSS 18.0; one-way ANOVA were applied to find out difference of significance; test level
was established as α= .05; and, following conclusion was drawn. First, level of blood cortisol showed meaningful differences
between groups after treatment in the convalescent stage (p<.05). Second, level of blood FFA showed meaningful differences
between groups after treatment in the convalescent stage (p<.05). Third, level of blood lactic acid concentration showed
meaningful differences between groups after treatment in the convalescent stage (p<.05). Fourth, level of blood concentration of
cortisol, FFA and lactic acid did not show meaningful differences between before exercising and after exercising. According to
this research, frolement and stroking method among sports massage types revealed higher effect than vibration method and thus,
it is thought that frolement and stroking method will be more effective when sports massage type is used on the site.
