Purpose of this study is to get general information about contents of young children's literature
education in Nuri curriculum for 5 year old ones and to look for implications on young children's
literature education and the further curriculum revision. Objects of analysis are contents of
‘Communication’ in Nuri curriculum.
The results are as follows;
Each content of ‘Communication’ includes attitude towards literature, literary creation,
understanding and appreciation of literature. To improve young children's literature education and
revise the content of ‘Communication’, the following suggestions are drawn from results of analysis.
Firstly, young children's literature education is based on ‘Communication’ in Nuri curriculum.
Secondly, more contents of literature education in Nuri curriculum are added to achieve an essential
goal of young children's literature education.
