이 연구는 동화를 통한 독서치료 프로그램이 정서발달 장애 아동의 주의력 결핍, 친사회성, 자아존중감, 표현력 향상에 영향을 미치는가를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구 대상은 G광역시에 있는 M초등학교 6학년 2명과 5학년 2명인데 참여자들은 모두 학교에서 각 반의 선생님들의 추천을 받아 온 아이들로 주의산만하고 대체로 자존감이 낮고, 고학년인데 도 맞춤법이 많이 틀리고 학습이해력이 낮은 아이들이다. 프로그램 실시 전후에 실험그룹에게 검사를 실시한 후 대응표본 t-test 통계 분석결과, 주의력 결핍, 친사회성에는 유의미한 차이를 보였으나 자아존중감, 표현력 향상에 유의미한 차이가 보이지 않았다. 이로써 단기간에 이루어지는 독서치료로 자아존중감이나 자기표현력 향상을 기대한 것이 무리였고, 주의력결핍 아동들의 문제 행동인 주의산만, 충동성 수정에는 긍정적인 영향과 친사회성 향상에 도움을 주었음을 알 수 있다.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the bibliotherapy on attention deficit, sociality, self-esteem and expressive improvement of the children with emotional development disorder. The experiment group consists of two elementary school children of 6 grade and two elementary school children of 5 grade in M elementary school, who are recommended by their teacher in each class. They tend to be distractive and have low self-esteem. Moreover, their spelling is terrible and they are short in understanding despite seniors. Before and after this program, pre-and post-tests are done through using paired t-test to find out the effects. The results are as follows. It shows statistically significant difference in attention deficit and sociality, while it doesn’t show statistically significant difference in self-esteem and expressive improvement. Therefore, it is an excessive expectation that the bibliotherapy of the healing has effects on improving self-esteem and expressive improvement in the short term, but it is positive influence on behavior modification of the children with attention deficit and impulse disorder and it also helps the improvement of sociality.
