This study examined the relationship among student satisfaction, loyalty, and intention to transfer in the departments affiliated with physical education. Participants were 610 students in the departments affiliated with physical education from 7 institutions of a 4-year university located in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Incheon, and ChungChong-do. The descriptive statistics for the subjects, the reliability analysis, and the confirmatory factor analysis were analysed. Moreover, for the research model analysis, a structural equation model was conducted. The confirmatory factor analysis indicated a good fit of the proposed five-factor structure. Results showed that student centeredness and instructional effectiveness among the three-subdimensions of student satisfaction had the positive significant impacts on loyalty. Furthermore, loyalty significantly affected intention to transfer. It means that students in the departments affiliated with physical education continually intend to retain the study on their major.
