The alticle examines the topic of conselvation of Far East Asian scroll paintings in Western museums. It raises mllseological qllestions of conselv ing scroll paintings in glass frames. The case study is the Korean scroll painting Bodbissatva Kwanum exhibited at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, The Netherlancls.
