This article attempts to suggest institutional improvement of museum professionals. Although various kinds of museum professionals are required , the Korea Government is executing only the Qualification Certificate for Curator from the year of 2000. According to increasing and strengthening museum activities from a small-scaled specialised museum to a mega-scaled general museum , museum professionals such as a group of curator and marketing manager, and that of museum educator and exhibition designer, that of conservator and restorer , that of collectional manager and documentation officer are required in the museum world. I strongly recommend that the Qualification Certificate for Curator should not be issued a large number of the 3rd class Curator' s Certificate , and the other Qualification Certificates for the museum professionals like a museum educator, an exhibition designer, a collection manager, a documentation officer should be executed by the Government of Korea. For developing and promoting museum activities , the national and autonomous governmental museums have to precede to recruit the museum professionals who took the required qualification certificate in the museum field. In the future , off-line museums combined on-line museums are able to develop and serve their own service such as a package museum tour that enjoy the ubiquitous system museum service. Therefore new experts in the museum world are required to be trained and educated in the digital museum network , who are qualified as a webmaster, a security officer, and a documentation officer. New museum experts should be recruited through interactive communication based on ubiquitous system. I sincerely hope to diverse and specialize the curatorship in field of the museum, gallery, archaeological and historical site, botanical and zoological garden, aquarium, planetarium, science center, archives, natural reserves and so on.
