Art has been very helpful in understanding the inner world of human by its visual factors since before the creation of language and character. The goal of Art Therapy is the remedy of anxiety or fear through Catharsis which reduce them by the art activity of patients. Furthermore. An therapy aims at creating the human life more positive and affirmative through recognizing the power of art. As the conclusions of this thesis, I draw the following facts: First of all, In the case of autistic children who suffer from the difficulty in social con in formation of “rapport” between a patient and a curer. Secondly. In the case of autistic children who suffer from the difficulty in presenting their own thought, art carry out a function of catharsis which dissolve and express the emotion through. free style expression. Finally, In the case of autistic children who severely resist to the change of circumstances, art is helpful in reducing the abnormal resistance through utilization of various means and materials. Despite the insufficient research in this thesis, I could evaluate the Art Therapy as affirmative and build the foundation for more effective and positive operation of Art Therapy. Together, I also hope that more advanced research is carried out in Art Therapy for more effective adaptation of it in the more improved circumstances.
