The purpose of research was to study relationship of creativity and Zen-Buddhism. This study included ① essence of creativity (definition, metaphorical comprehension, two level) ② theory of creativity (stage theory, a specific character theory, psychoanalysis theory) ③ essence of zen, unconsciousness of zen, and ego of zen. The results showed that similarities are intuitive & empirical, auctor creativity, disinterested beatitude & independence, devotion to work, preparation, self ecstasy, an apprentice system.
