The purposes of this study are to develop a structural model that explains organizational performance
(organizational commitment, financial performance) focus on educational investment, innovation, and
relation of transfer, as well as to examine the effects among these variables in Korean companies. To
conduct the present study, Human Capital Corporate Panel Survey(HCCP, 2009) data collected by the
Korean Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training (KRIVET) were utilized. 288 companies
are analyzed for this study. The major findings of this study are as follows: First, innovation, and
relation of transfer had a significant effect on organizational commitment. But, educational investment
had no significant effect on organizational commitment. Second, organizational commitment had a
significant effect on financial performance. But, educational investment, innovation, and relation of
transfer had no significant effect on financial performance. Third, the additional analysis proved that
organizational commitment was a meaningful mediator between innovation, relation of transfer and
financial performance.
