Problematic behavior occurs due to seriousness of juvenile emotional problem and this influences the study result and again
it relates to negative emotion forming vicious cycle. Meanwhile, this study is conducted to provide basic material of teaching
and learning by diagnosing concentration empirically using brain wave measuring equipment according to psychological
well-being level since the concept of emotional well-being and its research was expanded and measuring concentration became
possible due to the development of measuring brain wave. It is to grasp the relationship between psychological well-being and
concentration by comparing the difference of concentration through analysing brain wave when performing figures and
language assignment using brain wave measuring system after classifying sub-factors into high group and low group measuring
questionnaires of psychological well-being with 50 subjects of middle school students. To achieve the objective of this study
books dealing with psychological well-being and brain wave were analyzed and psychological well-being and brain wave were
measured and survey and experiment were conducted to understand the relationship. The measuring tools for psychological
well being is verified its validity modifying for juveniles from the dissertation of Ha, Taemin (2009) and the Cronbach's α
conceived from this study was .733~.892, which was fine. In order to measure brain wave activity, hair band style 2 channel
brain wave measuring equipment BTS-2000(Laxtha Inc, Korea) was used and the analysis software was TeleScan
ver.3(LAXTHA Inc., Korea) and the power value was extracted according to each detail rhythm area analysing Power
Spectrum. The data gained from this study was computer processed using SPSS 18.0K, the statistic analysis program.
High group and low group were classified based on scores of sub factor of psychological well-being, brain wave
concentration indicator was analyzed and t-test(independent samples t-test) was conducted to understand the difference among
groups of 8 sub factors. Paired t-test was conducted to understand the difference of concentration in performing figure
assignment and language assignment. The result that in performing figure assignment, concentration goes high as psychological
well-being goes high, in performing language assignment, there was no difference of concentration and psychological well-being
implies that school education can neglect concentration as comparatively adjusted learned result in performing language
assignment since it focuses on language assignment, left brain superior area. The result that in case of the group with high
psychological well-being, in performing figure assignment, they display high concentration compare in performing language
assignment, but in groups with low, they did not selective concentrate in performing figure assignment and language
assignment implies that there is close relationship between psychological well-being and concentration.
