A study of what to ask and how to ask to students has been the most
concerned subject for teachers. Art teachers take a lot of effort to make questions
efficiently. When teachers compare with characteristics of plain painting and
printmaking, teachers have to consider questions which reflect the characteristics of
printmaking in teaching and learning process in order to help students understand
printmaking correctly and efficiently. However, printmaking classes in elementary
school have not been planned and guided systematically. Therefore, researcher has
recognized the need of question which takes into account the characteristics of the
printmaking for instructing printmaking classes efficiently in elementary art
education.
Researcher tries to present questions in accordance with the characteristics of
the printmaking and the different types. As researcher considers students thinking
process, printmaking will be divided into two parts. Researcher introduces
questions and answers which will help students to understand and connect
expression activities to expanded way of thinking activities. The example questions
that are suggested by researcher will help students to understand printmaking
correctly and assist them enhancing students thinking ability. In addition, it is
expected to help out teachers in a variety of study for questions.
