As Korea enters into aging society, the aged employment business is one of the current issues to achieve the social integration through the means of income security and social participation of the aged. Until now, employment policy for the aged has been mainly depending on passive and temporary program using the existing volunteer sectors and public affairs. At this situation, it is fortunate that Aged Labour Operation Center is established as an organization in National Pension Corporation, with its aim to promote the aged employment business. However, borderland between volunteer and the aged employment business is unclear and more research on activation policy is still required.
This study suggest how to activate and stimulate the aged employment business and volunteers affairs through defining the roles of each schemes. The activation plans by defining the role of volunteer and the aged employment business are as follows.
1. Defining the purpose of the aged employment business and Volunteers affairs.
2. Clarifying the organizer of the plans.
3. Categorizing in three sectors the employment business, the income support business and volunteer affairs.
4. Diversifying Government\'s intervention per each level of plans.
